Publisher Success Manager

Overview

Transmit is seeking a client-delight-obsessed Publisher Success Manager for our Publisher Operations team. The ideal candidate would be a strong client facing account manager with a background in either MarTech or AdTech who is looking to impact the digital strategy for our most strategic clients. What You'll Do

As a Publisher Success Manager, you'll work directly with senior leaders at some of the largest and most recognizable publishers in the industry, to help them achieve their audience acquisition and monetization goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Own the relationship and ultimate success of a dedicated segment of Transmit's enterprise and mid-market publishing clients, including initial onboarding, campaign execution, optimization, and retention
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer key stakeholders and executive sponsors to fully understand your customer's business strategy and measurements for success
  • Continuously think outside the box to generate new campaign ideas, tailored to the unique needs of your clients
  • Service as customer advocate internally while effectively collaborating with internal, cross-functional teams including product management, sales, engineering, and design
  • Ensure that customers derive maximum value from their investments in Transmit and fully leverage our entire suite of services
  • Convey publisher feedback internally with product team to inform new monetization opportunities, tailored to the changing needs of your clients.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree plus experience related to digital media or digital advertising
  • 2+ years of direct experience in account management or customer success
  • A deep understanding of the digital publisher ecosystem and/or experience working with digital publishers (examples: Conde Nast, Meredith, Time, Refinery29, Tribune, CNN, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced and demanding tech or startup environments; you relish adversity and overcoming obstacles
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to project manage, set priorities and stay organized when managing multiple client relationships

Senior Art Director

Responsibilities

- Develop creative in partnership with our creative, operations and publisher development team

What You'll Do

We are seeking a Manager of Streaming Quality Assurance to lead Live and VOD streaming QA across Transmit.live’s portfolio of publisher partners. The ideal candidate will oversee VOD and Live event streaming and advertising experience, including general streaming playback, ad quality, ad insertions and testing.  This individual will build procedures and best practices for Live and VOD streaming quality assurance and operations. You will develop, own, and report on key performance metrics as they’re related to the overall streaming experience and ad experience for our publishers.  You will be self-motivated with a deep understanding of streaming operations and broadcast engineering.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Run 24/7 live streaming events, such as football, soccer, basketball, live concerts and other major events on a domestic and international scale.
  • Manage and schedule a team of in-house and outsourced coordinators to prioritize multiple events running concurrently.
  • Configure data driven and manual advertising triggers into event-based livestreams and confirm playback across all supported customer devices.
  • Setup, test, and maintain end to end workflow for streaming events or to QA for testing.
  • Lead and improve dashboard features and functionality related to our video services and advertising delivery
  • Troubleshoot, debug, fix or report any live digital streaming and ad serving issues and provide root cause analyses for all major issues
  •  Support internal and third-party engineering teams to assure projects get done on time
  • Assist in rolling out ad integrations, measurement, encryption and DRM across VOD & live tv workflows.
  • Compose daily reports summarizing new issues and resolutions to existing issues.

Senior Software Engineer

Transmit is seeking enthusiastic Software Engineers to help us build the future of our dynamic ad service. As a member of a small but growing team, you will leverage your experience in frontend and backend feature development to make a significant impact on our product suite and codebase.

In this full-stack engineering role, you will work on low-latency, highly-reliable services that power our server-side ad insertion infrastructure. You will be responsible for monitoring, debugging, and improving complex infrastructures that interact with third parties. In addition, you will develop internal and client-facing user interfaces for our ad service console application. You will work directly with our Product and Ad Operations teams to gather feature requirements, respond to issues and drive progress against product initiative

What You’ll Do:

•  Maintain and improve our ad tech infrastructure, which includes a mixture of client and server-side solutions  

•  Write well-tested, high-throughput software for use in low-latency workloads

•  Collaborate with our Ad Operations, Ad Sales, Product and VideoExperience teams, as well as other members of the Transmit organization to refine functional requirements, determine priorities, and deliver business-critical projects

•  Build analytics tools to query and visualize large datasets with blazing fast response times. Modify existing data pipelines or deploy new ones to support feature requirements.

•  Maintain constructive working relationships with vendors at all levels of our advertising stack, including, but not limited to:understanding technical and  functional requirements for new partner onboarding, troubleshooting with existing partners and vendors, performance analysis and reporting  

Assist in the definition and implementation of superior user experiences around advertising

•  Identify and execute on opportunities to develop software to increase efficiency, visibility, and performance of our ad technology  

•  Troubleshoot issues with appropriate urgency, QA and monitor feature deployments as needed

MinimumQualifications and Experience:

•  4+ years of experience delivering production-quality software in a high-traffic environment

•  Experience writing scalable backend applications and frontend user interfaces

•  Experience working with databases, both SQL and NoSQL, as well as large reporting datasets

•  Experience writing and deploying cloud-hosted code and designing cloud-based architecture (e.g. GCP, AWS)

What You’ll Do:

The  Product Marketing Director is responsible for making Transmit’s products successful in the market. Product marketing is the bridge between our products and our customers. This includes contributing to our Go-To-Market strategy and executing it. The Product Marketing Director will identify the target customer profile, define the unique value proposition for the product, its positioning and will drive all promotions and communication of the product vision & value. This position requires a deep understanding of customer requirements, different customer segments & use cases and being able to craft and communicate audience specific messaging for each customer segment.


Roles and Responsibilities:

• Shape/Lead go-to-market strategy, including positioning, messaging, and communications strategy for Transmit Live’s Advanced SSAI solution in collaboration with Product and Sales teams.

• Understand and consider the competitive landscape and target markets in marketing strategies and messaging.

• Lead educational marketing campaigns via webinars and other scalable initiatives to drive awareness and adoption of new and existing advertiser experience features

• Lead market assessment, quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback, and represent the requirements of the market internally with Product Management and Engineering

• Work effectively in a heavily cross functional, fast-paced environment, especially working across our product and sales teams

Skills and Experience: 

• Experience in digital media, ad tech, video delivery

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives

In this role, you will work on low-latency, highly reliable platforms that power our ad-serving and video encoding workloads. You will be responsible for ensuring that our infrastructure is well-architected, and that code is shipped reliably and rapidly.

Additionally, you will support our Software Engineering team to ensure developer productivity.

• Maintain and improve AWS cloud infrastructure on which ad technology runs using the latest infrastructure-as-code tooling.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Accounting team and processes, serving as the final review of the accuracy of monthly financial statements.
