VP of Finance & Accounting

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Accounting team and processes, serving as the final review of the accuracy of monthly financial statements.
  • Actively manage long term financial planning and analysis including budgeting, forecasting, resource management and multi­-year financial plans, working closely with functional leaders across the company.
  • Serve as a Business Partner to the Executive Team to provide insight and analytical support to help guide business decisions and move the company forward
  • Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: assign accountabilities; set objectives; establish priorities; and monitor and evaluate results.
  • Serve as the liaison to third party firms for audits, tax preparation, and other projects.
  • Manage banking relationships, managing liquidity, and preparing cash flow forecasts.
  • Develop, maintain and utilize the appropriate financial systems, tools, processes and resources required to support all of the financial planning, management and reporting needs of the business.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic financial goals and objectives

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. MBA is a plus
  • CPA preferred
  • 5+ years experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Sound technical accounting skills and GAAP proficiency
  • Experience in FP&A and providing insight and guidance to executive teams
  • Strong analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills and the ability to be adaptable in a growing organization
  • M&A and investor relations experience is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask
  • Excellent management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance and administration initiatives
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively
