Product Marketing Director

What You’ll Do:

The  Product Marketing Director is responsible for making Transmit’s products successful in the market. Product marketing is the bridge between our products and our customers. This includes contributing to our Go-To-Market strategy and executing it. The Product Marketing Director will identify the target customer profile, define the unique value proposition for the product, its positioning and will drive all promotions and communication of the product vision & value. This position requires a deep understanding of customer requirements, different customer segments & use cases and being able to craft and communicate audience specific messaging for each customer segment.


Roles and Responsibilities:

• Shape/Lead go-to-market strategy, including positioning, messaging, and communications strategy for Transmit Live’s Advanced SSAI solution in collaboration with Product and Sales teams.

• Understand and consider the competitive landscape and target markets in marketing strategies and messaging.

• Lead educational marketing campaigns via webinars and other scalable initiatives to drive awareness and adoption of new and existing advertiser experience features

• Lead market assessment, quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback, and represent the requirements of the market internally with Product Management and Engineering

• Work effectively in a heavily cross functional, fast-paced environment, especially working across our product and sales teams

Skills and Experience: 

• Experience in digital media, ad tech, video delivery

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives

• Experience as Product Marketer with the ability to drive prioritization consensus across business units and serve as an effective liaison between customers and engineering

• Expertise with Server Side Ad Insertion a plus

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions

• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners

• High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

• Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Minimum of 5-7 years of marketing experience, in B2B / tech environment

• Proven experience partnering closely with product management and marketing teams

• Experience working closely with product/engineering and sales stakeholders

• Experience working in content marketing

• Outstanding program management with ability to manage multiple, cross-functional projects simultaneously

• Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and written communication skills

• Analytical mind-set and problem solving skills with high attention to detail

• Working knowledge of digital media landscape, OTT video, online advertising platforms and the digital video landscape
